The insect's got two spots above its head which look eerily like eyes. Nature's way of making the insect look a tad bit more threatening

feline curiosity about smaller creatures


I must admit though that the curiosity made her take several swipes at the insect but it survived and ultimately found its way under the desk where Kiki could not get to it. Kiki peered under the desk for a long time and finally lost interest.

Tailed Jay (Graphium Agamemnon): belongs to the Swallowtail or Papilionidae family, and is also known as the Green-spotted Triangle, Tailed Green Jay or the Green Triange; common speices to India, Sri Lanka, South-east Asia and into Australia
